Comfort

Many foldable mattresses are very thin and can be very uncomfortable for heavier people. We recommend memory foam over polyfoam because it’s a denser material.

Support

The most important factor to consider when buying any mattress is support. We recommend buying a mattress of at least 4 inches thickness. This will provide adequate support for all kind of sleepers.

Sleeping position

Another very important factor to think about is your sleeping position and weight. As a general rule, if you are a side sleeper, a soft to medium-firm mattress is ideal. Go for a medium-firm if you are over 230 pounds.

If you are a back or stomach sleeper, a medium-firm to firm mattress will work best for you. Once again, if you are over 230 pounds then we recommend you go for the firm mattress for that extra spinal support.
